Gardening coordinator with Holly Lodge Centre

The Holly Lodge Centre provides activities for people of all ages and abilities to help them learn about the wildlife and heritage of Richmond Park.   People with special needs are particularly welcome.   The sessions are linked to the National Curriculum Key Stages 1 and 2 for school children.  

The Centre is a charity working in partnership with the Royal Parks.

Role description
Holly Lodge Centre have an award winning gardening group, who support teenagers with disabilities from a local school to grow fruits and vegetables in their Victorian kitchen garden. They are looking for a garden co-ordinator to determine what needs to be sown, tended and harvested and lead weekly sessions with support from their friendly and experienced garden volunteers.

Skills and Qualifications Required
This role would provide excellent experience for anyone aiming for a career in environmental education.

Benefits
